Science Lead: Miss Georgia Thornley

At Lever House we are committed to providing a high quality science curriculum that will give all children a strong understanding of the world. We pride ourselves on our fun and creative approach to learning and endeavour to provide pupils with memorable learning experiences that maximise learning within science. 

We have carefully created our Science curriculum to ensure that all National Curriculum objectives are taught and where possible created cross-curricula topics which enhance learning and retention. Our science curriculum isn’t restricted to the classroom as our Forest School facilities allow all pupils to experience science in the natural environment from EYFS.

Working scientifically is an important part of our curriculum at Lever House and we aim to offer first hand experiences from EYFS-Year 6. We encourage all pupils to be scientifically curious, resilient with their work and to learn from their best mistakes.
