What a perfect addition to the week! As teachers, things may not always go to plan such as rain on school trips but yesterday we were winning. In our Understanding the World session, EYFS were answering the question what does winter look like? Snow being a rarity, we jumped on this opportunity to explore all things winter!  We explored how the snow felt, what it sounded like and why some parts were snowier than others. We came up with some fabulous vocabulary such as crunchy, mushy, hard, soft and melty.
