A warm welcome back to school for all our children, and a special welcome for our new starters and their families.

Its good to see the children well and happy, and I’m enjoying listening to what they have been doing during the summer break.

If you are looking to build on that fun, the fire and rescue are having an open day soon (see poster below) there is chance to try on some fire fighting kit, see the engines, have a go at squirting water and how it feels to be in a smoke filled room. There are rescue search dogs doing a demonstration and food and ice cream for sale, and lots more!
