And Summer Term is here!

In the blink of an eye, summer term is up on us and hopefully the weather will catch up with us very soon.  We hope you have all had an enjoyable Easter break and that the children are refreshed and ready to return to school.

We are really excited to launch our Rainforests topic with the children and this will form the majority of our Geography and Science learning for this term.

Please see our Class Newsletter for information about learning this half term and important key messages.

PE

For this week the children will have PE on Monday and Friday.

After that, there is a slight change to our PE this half term.  All the children will have PE as usual on Friday and will need to come to school dressed in their PE kit on that day.  On Mondays (starting from 22.04.2024) Y4 will go swimming  – see separate email – and will need to come dressed in PE kit.  Y3 will have their other PE session on a Wednesday and will need to come in PE kit on that day.

Home learning, spellings and mental maths will be sent home on Friday. Please continue to read with your child at least 3 times a week and remember to fill in their yellow reading diary.  Additional book continue to be available on Bug Club and we will change reading books in school on a Monday and Thursday.  Additional Maths activities are added to MyMaths for your child to revisit learning from class and please encourage your child to continue practising their times tables using TTRS.

As always, if you have any queries please feel free to contact us via our email addresses.
